Sources of Support

Jewish Family & Children's Service of North Jersey is a major beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of North Jersey.

The agency receives support from United Way, County and State, and Foundation funding.

However, as a non-profit agency, we often offer our services free or at reduced costs. We therefore depend upon the support of those in the community who have the resources and compassion to bring hope and make a difference in the life of those in need:

o Hope for countless children who are troubled and hurt;
o Healing for families grieving the loss of a loved one;
o Help for homebound seniors in need of kosher
hot meals and a friendly visitor.

With your support we will continue to help those who need us the most.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Friends of JF&CS
Our annual Friends Campaign which is sent to you by mail three times in our fiscal year: before Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah and Passover.

The funds raised by the Friends Campaign provides unrestricted operating funds which allow us to fund our programs and support the infrastructure that makes these programs possible.

Donations can be made in the following amounts:
o Benefactor $1,000 - $2,500
o Patron $500 - $999
o Donor $250 - $499
o Supporter $100 - $249
o Friend $50 - $99
o Contributor - Under $50

TRIBUTE FUND

Please use our Tribute Fund when you want to acknowledge one of life's important events:

Sending a JF&CS Tribute Card is a wonderful way to support and raise awareness of the services the agency provides to children, adults, couples, families, seniors and émigrés.

THREE EASY WAYS TO SHOW YOU CARE:

1. Order Tribute Cards individually or in packets of six and send them yourself.
2. Mail, fax, (973-595-5477) or call us (973-595-0111). We will send the Tribute for you.
3. A personalized letter will be sent for individual Tribute donations of $25.00 or more to acknowledge your gifts.

A minimum of $5,000 is needed to establish a named
fund in honor/memory of a loved one.

The donor may name the fund and choose an area of interest for how the fund's income or principal will be spent annually.

BEQUEST

• You can create a Bequest in your will by naming JF&CS as a beneficiary of your estate.
• Including JF&CS in a bequest contained in your will is a thoughtful way to provide for our community's future.
• Establishing a bequest to benefit JF&CS allows you to make a significant gift, retain lifetime control over your assets and gain tax savings because your entire gift is deducted from your estate's taxable value.
