COUNSELING SERVICES

At certain times in our lives, each of us may be affected by stressful events. We may become dissatisfied with the directions of our lives or become aware of patterns we repeat with ourselves or with others. We may experience emotional upset, conflict with family members or frustration at work.

At these times, it is important to reach out for help.

Jewish Family & Children's Service is here to provide that help.

Today, more than ever, people of all ages and all walks of life are faced with the challenge of coping with personal and family problems that may interfere with their ability to love, work and live productively.

Our licensed, professional staff is available to help you with:

  • Troubled relationships
  • Parent-child issues
  • Separation and divorce
  • Life cycle adjustments
  • Vocational and employment problems
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Sickness and disability

Individual Counseling can help with personal conflicts, anxiety, stress and depression and can help you to live and work more effectively.

Marital and Couples Counseling can help improve relationships through better communication skills, understanding each other's needs and developing more positive partnerships in dealing with children, finances, family life and work.

Family Counseling can address the many issues facing families with younger children and teens, remarried couples and blended families, single-parent families and those managing the "sandwich" obligations of childcare and eldercare.

JF&CS serves men, women and children of all ages, all incomes and all lifestyles. Our services are available to the entire community without regard to religion, race or ethnic origin.

All JF&CS services are confidential.

Fees are fair and affordable and are based on a sliding scale. No one is denied service because of an inability to pay.

JF&CS is a participating member of many health insurance plans and HMOs and we will work with you and your provider.

JF&CS is a Medicare certified provider.
